Send A Scout To Camp! FUMC’s Boy Scout Troop 100 is holding a Rib Sale to raise money to go to camp this summer. Get a great meal and help support a great cause! A full slab of delicious smoked ribs is only $18.00. See any Scout or contact Scoutmaster, Larry Callaway at (352) 208-8414 for tickets. Ribs will be available for pick up at Highlands Baseball Field, 537 SE 36th Avenue, Ocala on Saturday, May 19th between 1:00 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.
The United Methodist Women will hold their Unit Meeting on Monday, May 21st at 10:30 a.m. in the Family Life Center. Suzanne Green will be the guest speaker presenting a program on Wills & Trusts. All members of the church are invited to attend this program. The Executive Committee will meet at 9:00 a.m. in Room #42. There will be no meetings held during June, July and August.

We’re going back to Peru! In late June a well rounded team of about ten members will be going to the orphanage our Larry and Debbie Drake are working with in Abancay, Peru. Our church has funded a renovation of the orphanage, and we’re going down to assist with the project. If you can’t go you can support the project by attending our free

Girls Night Out ~ Please join us
Thursday, May 24th 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in Room 31. Susan Wilson will show us how to make Hanging Glass Lanterns! You will need to bring 1 of each of the following with you. They need to be various shapes and sizes in glass ~ (ie: small vases w/a lip, saucers, bowls, cups, candlesticks, votives, etc) also bring glass beads or other decorative glass for embellishing. Youth Choir (Teens) will sing/ring at the 8:30 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. worship services on May 27th.

TUESDAY MORNING COMMUNITY OUTREACH - We really need Bikes of all sizes, shapes & conditions. Just bring them to the Family Life Center on Tuesday mornings. We have three homeless men who fix them for others who also are homeless. This is a great example of how our Tuesday Ministry is helping others to become involved in ministry.
