	Cedar Rapids Disaster Relief Bake Sale…The KFC Children will be selling baked goods after all three worship services on Sunday, July 20th.  All proceeds will go directly to helping the families affected by the recent floods. Vacation Bible School is scheduled for July 28 to August 1, 2008.  Forms to register your child/children are available in Room 204 and the Church Office.  If you are able to help with VBS, please let Rebecca know by calling her at 622-3244, ext. 349.  We need your help with Vacation Bible School snack supplies.  If you are able to purchase a snack item, please take a “Bubbling Beaker” from the bulletin board located in the back of the Family Life Center or in the Narthex of the Sanctuary.  All snack items need to be returned to the Church no later than July 27th.  Please place your items in the basket located underneath the bulletin board or you may drop them off at the Church Office during the week.  Thanks for your help!  We also need empty, clear, 2-liter water bottles to use for a craft during Vacation Bible School.  If you can donate bottles, please drop them off to the basket located in the Narthex or the Family Life Center.      Kids For Christ is in need of snacks, drinks and 5 oz. cups.  If you can help, please drop them off at the church office or at the KFC room. Sunday School Teachers needed for 4th and 5th grades during the summer.  Even if you could help for one month, let Rebeccao know. The Preschool wishes to thank all of you who contributed to the Ennis Wynne Preschool Scholarship Fund through the church offering and through the purchase of the special baskets.  Your donations help to ensure that children whose families are experiencing temporary financial difficulties can continue their days of learning in our school.  We want you to know that your gifts are at work every day in the lives of our children as they sing praises to God and learn to love Jesus and experience His love through your gift. We need greeters for the children’s worship.  If you can help one Sunday a month, please let Rebecca know  by calling 622-3244. We also need wooden materials for story telling time.  If you are a wood crafter, we need your help!  Please pray that our children will know God and His love through this sacred time!
