More Upcoming Events

Our next Church Council meeting is set for Sunday, May 18.  Important decisions will be made in the life of our church.  Please bring a covered dish after the 11:00 a.m. worship service as we’ll gather in the Family Life Center around 12:15 p.m.

Our next Adult Ministry Trip is May 27 to Honeymoon Island and Caladesi Island State Parks  The beaches of these state parks are rated as two of the most beautiful  in Florida.  Following the park visit we will visit Dunedin, a city of Scottish heritage, and accessible only by boat.  Cost of the ferry from Honeymoon Island to Caladesi is $9.00 round trip.  Anyone who does not want to go to Caladesi can remain at the visitors center at Honeymoon State  Park. The $9.00 ferry fee will be paid individually.  Cost of the trip will be $10.00 per person and that includes transportation and entrance to the parks.  Lunch is on your own. We will leave the church at 8:30 a.m. and return at 6:00 p.m. Call the church office (622-3244) for reservations.

Christian Comedian, Chonda Pierce will be in Ocala on Friday, June 6^th at 7:30 p.m. at the First Assembly of God to present the “Second Annual Girls Night Out 2008 Tour Stayin’ Alive…Laughing!  General admission is $20.00 and you can call 866-440-7880 for tickets or buy your tickets online at www.thejoyfm.com.

Farewell Luncheon for the Dials and Kellums...There will be a luncheon on June 22^nd at 12:30 p.m. in the Family Life Center to honor the Dials and the Kellums for their service to this congregation.  You may pick up your tickets in the church office  beginning May 5^th through June 16^th.  Due to the limited seating, a “free ticket “is required for each person attending the luncheon. 2008 Camps at the Life Enrichment Center in Leesburg, Florida, for children... 

Grandparents and Me Camp now two weeks!  June 23-26, 2008 and June 30-July 3, 2008.   Camping for grandparents and their grandchildren aged 5-12 years.  Stay in your RV or in one of the Life Enrichment Center rooms.  Full meal service with camping activities for children, for grandparents, and for both together. 

Camp Pioneer (for adult mentally challenged) July 14-19, 2008.  Camp Pioneer returns to the Life Enrichment Center for another week of crafts, swimming, bowling, Bible study, dancing and sharing God’s love. 

Family Camping Weekend Camp July 4-6, 2008.  Come and stay in your RV, tent, or one of the Life Enrichment Center rooms for a weekend of intergenerational camping fun in a Christian environment.
